On January 24, 2018 the product teams from Lomonosov Moscow State University and Bauman Moscow State Technical University presented the final results of the three-month NPD project activities in development of innovation product concept. The project task "Reducing human involvement in dangerous and annoying interactions with household appliances: formulation of innovation concepts and preliminary feasibility check” was formulated by the Italian company Rold specialised in the manufacture of components for household appliances.

During three-month innovation workshop Russian nascent product managers in the teams went from identifying the opportunity, managing the product ideas to creating the concept of innovative products. OIPEC partners from Politecnico di Milano and Lomonosov Moscow State University provided training, coaching and project management.

Final presentations of 16 product teams from Italy and Russia demonstrated a wide range of conceptual engineering solutions. Participants noted the importance of the gained experience and the readiness to develop the emerging direction for cooperation.
