Day 1- 2: 04/04/2018 and 05/04/2018

The event started at 9 am with the welcoming of the consortium members and other participants from SMEs in China from various province at Hebei. The topic was Open Innovation. It was a 2 day workshop with speeches by

• OIPEC representatives
• Speakers from D4E(Design for Enterprises)
• Invited speakers from Chinese Universities and SMEs.

This was followed by an open discussion on applied Open Innovation projects based on the COILab model.

Day 3- 4: 06/04/2018 and 07/04/2018

The event started at 9 am with the welcoming of the consortium members and other participants from SMEs in China from various province at TJU. The topic was Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship. More than 50+entrepreneurs attended this 2 day event.

The activities of these 2 days were as follows:

• Speeches by OIPEC representatives
• Talk on Open (source) Design (within Open Innovation).
• Talks on collaboration with companies in educational activities
• Presentation about OIPEC-related activities at VISU
• Invited speeches from China were on:
  • Manufacture in China by Dr. Ershi Qi (Economics and Management)
  • Behavioral Science and idea innovation by Dr. Liming Zhao (Economics and Management)
  • The development of TRIZ in China by Dr. Yongwei Sun

Followed by an open discussion on applied Open Innovation projects based on the COILab model.
