Innovations Practice Lab “4 Sprints to the IoT” March - April, 2017 - Moscow

Each Friday 19:00-22:00, and Saturday 11:00-17:00

This is cross-disciplinary educational initiative at the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) with combined efforts with our industrial partners (Intel, SAP) aimed at the development of new approaches to the innovation and technology entrepreneurship education through: hands-on practical activities and project/team based learning.

The overall program design leads young entrepreneurs through 4 Design Sprints:

  1. Identification of the “best problem to solve”.
  2. Design and development of the solution concept.
  3. Iterations with rapid prototyping, field tests with users and tuning the solution up to “product-market” fit stage
  4. Functional prototype fabrication through engineering/mechanical prototyping, electronics, and internet services.

For the sprints 3 and 4 Dmitry Shaytan prepared trainings co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union how to use additive technologies in prototyping and manufacturing. In the frames of the training the OIPEC arranged access to the additive technology equipment.

The Innovations Practice Lab  “4 Sprints to the IoT” at the 12th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, September 2017, Paris, France, got 2nd award for “Teaching Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence Award” (https://www.academic-conferences.org/conferences/ecie/ecie-awards)
